How to Get Around

Transportation is convenient — we’re providing a shuttle between the church ceremony and LaPlaya, so if you're staying there, you will not need a car

However, if you wish to explore the area, renting a car is an option. Ubers are also readily available

We began dating our senior year at
Notre Dame

After graduation, we were long-distance — Grace in Chicago and John in Boston

We made the most of working remotely by traveling around, stopping in Austin...

...and San Francisco

Last year, we moved to Chicago and have been happily settling into the city

In January 2024, we got engaged!

What date should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by May 10, 2025. If you know your plans sooner, feel free to respond earlier. You can RSVP on our website, or if you prefer, we'll include a reply card in the formal invitation for you to mail back.

Additionally, we’d love to get an idea of who will be joining us for the Welcome Drinks and Farewell Brunch. We understand that travel plans may change, so just give us your best guess.

When should I plan to be in Naples?

If your schedule allows, we would love to see you at the events occurring throughout the long weekend, from Friday to Sunday. Please ensure you arrive in Naples before our afternoon ceremony on Saturday.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Only guests who have received a plus one invitation may bring an additional guest. We ask that other guests not bring extra attendees. Thank you for your understanding!

What is the dress code for your wedding?

For our Wedding, please dress in beach formal attire — dressy separates, dresses, or a suit.

For our Welcome Drinks, please opt for dressy casual attire — sundresses, dress shirt with slacks.

For our Farewell Breakfast, feel free to come as you like.

Is there a block of hotel rooms set aside for the wedding?

Yes, we have reserved blocks of rooms at both LaPlaya Resort and Inn at Pelican Bay.

What is the easiest way to get to and from our ceremony and LaPlaya?

The easiest way to get to and from the ceremony and LaPlaya is by using our shuttle. The shuttle will depart from LaPlaya at 1 PM and 1:30 PM, with return service post the ceremony.

Alternatively, you can drive — there’s parking at the church and valet at the reception.

Will there be parking available?

Yes, there will be parking available. Saint William has ample parking, and LaPlaya Resort provides complementary event valet service.
